Passenger car driving directions:

45 min-1 hr from the our beloved island

West Side Highway to the GWB upper level. Stay in one of the two right lanes.

EXIT at end of bridge to Palisades Parkway North

Continue approx 21 miles to Exit 12

LEFT at stop sign

200 yards later, RIGHT at stop light onto rt. 45 north

Continue approx 1/2 mile to RIGHT turn (only option) on South Mountain Rd, just after farm market on right (great cinnamon doughnuts and home made pies).

1 mile later – just past a white picket fence as you come down a hill – take a RIGHT into my long driveway into the woods. #62. You can’t see the house from the road, (therefore, you can’t see the road from the house, yay!)

Btw, the cheapest place to get gas on this whole outing is the first station on the right after you enter the parkway, after you cross the GWB. There is another of the same across the pkwy for south bounders, on the way home. Don’t get gas at the place 10 miles up the pkwy unless you need to. Them are thievin’ folks.

Enjoy the drive and watch for parkway coppers, they hide in the u-turns.
